The Sales Unit Head leads and manages the smooth implementation of the sales and commercial strategy through developing distribution channels and building key accounts within the local and international markets to drive existing and new revenue to Louvre Abu Dhabi. Roles and Responsibilities Under the guidance of the Sales Manager, the role holder will develop the unit’s medium and long terms commercial and sales goals, methods, policies and procedures that create a road map for the department. Provides regular review of the unit's progress, sales targets and business to business (B2B) analytical reports against the market trends and provides advice and recommendations for further actions to the Sales Manager. Responsible for developing, managing and achieving the commercial aspects of B2B trade and ensuring meeting sales targets, while being compliant with DCT processes. Creates distribution channels as set out in B2B sales strategy by engaging and contracting B2B partners, including but not limited to, hotels, destination management companies (DMCs) and trade partners, airlines, tourism boards, tour operators, corporates and educational institutes. Manage the contracting of B2B trade partners and helps to direct and/or support the Sales Officers across the team. Responsible for developing and specializing in at least one international market. Assists in managing all incoming commercial leads and looks to develop into museum contracts and sell to all necessary partners. Regularly researches key markets assigned, to understand current trends and activities that could impact or enhance the achievement of targets that lead to effective commercial business decisions. Manages and develops the budget for assigned accounts, along with the administrative, commercial, legal and financial actions required for the unit throughout the year. Reviews commercial proposals and prepares market feasibility reports providing detailed targets, market focus, funding parameters and resource allocation, and follows up on executing. Manage and record the sales teams activities and targets by having up to date reporting available on a weekly basis. Responsible for supporting the development of the overall sales strategy. Responsible for developing and implementing the sales strategy for his/her relevant market. Responsible for supporting in the development and implementation each Sales Officer’s strategy. Meet the minimum required sales activities as set out per the sales manager. Ensures operational excellence in achieving KPI’s, working towards establishing a sustainable financial model by achieving any set financial targets and driving internal process improvement and efficiency and, ensuring the offering of attractive products or tools that lead this enablement. As a brand ambassador the role holder will consider the customer prospective in all projects - working to understand and manage all stakeholders. • As a leader the role holder will create learning opportunities by collaboration, transfer of knowledge, or developing employees in the respective area, that drive employee engagement and growth across the Museum. Qualification & Experience 8+ years of post graduate experience in sales within tourism and travel industries Fluency in English and Arabic Bachelor’s or Master's Degree in Marketing, Business Studies or Equivalent Simply Brilliant People Powered by JazzHR
